Santa Rosa Days "New Mexico Centennial"
Annual Santa Rosa Days Celebration and Santa Rosa Days Parade celebrates the New Mexico Centennial. Theme for Santa Rosa Days Parade will be the New Mexico Centennial with New Mexico History, and all things Santa Rosa or New Mexico. Santa Rosa's Park Lake Summer Season official opening. Fun for the whole family at Park Lake - Swimming, waterslide, pedal boats, canoes, water trikes, food and concession booths, contests for kids, kids rock climbing, live entertainment, and arts and crafts show.

Memorial Day USSSA Softball Tournament

June 15th, 16th, and 17th (Friday - Noon Sunday)

Bosque Redondo Memorial, Fort Sumner, NM | The Long Run IV Motorcycle Ride
Motorcycle enthusiasts throughout the Navajo Nation gather in Kirkland, NM to ride together to the Bosque Redondo Memorial commemorate the "Long Walk." Long Run IV will revisit the miles walked by the Navajo people who were rounded up by the U.S. Army, under the command of Colonel Christopher "Kit" Carson, and forced to walk hundreds of miles to the Bosque Redondo Reservation at Fort Sumner, NM in 1863. The commemorative ride began six years ago with a small group of Navajos who wnated to pay homage to their ancestors. Event programs include cookouts, traditional singing, important keynote speaker from the Navajo Nation, participants' testimonials about their feelings and thoughts about the historic event, and spiritual observances.

The 531st Air Force Band
Has over a forty year history of sustaining the traditions and heritage that has become the hallmark of military bands. The combined fifty member unit maintains a high degree of musical performance flexibility in order to accomodate a wide variety of tasks in support of official military functions and community relations programs.

Annual 4th of July Celebration
Fireworks display at Park Lake family picnic setting around Park Lake is New Mexico's premier fireworks display, food concession booths and entertainment.

Santa Rosa Annual Firecracker Tournament
Class D & E Softball Teams from around the state compete in a tournament that has become a 4th of July family favorite. There is a Free Fireworks Display at Park Lake, waterslides, pedal boats, swimming and fishing.

Guadalupe County Fair
Ranch rode, team roping, exhibits and commercial booths, pet parade, garden club flower show, play day, barbecue, rodeo, dance, fun league tournament, horseshoe pitching contest, and silent auction.

Sanctioned race event qualifier, swim - bike - run. Swim at Twin Lakes, Bike a challenging course on Highway 91 as you bike through Pecos River Canyons towards Puerto de Luna, NM. Return to Twin Lakes. Run to Blue Hole.
